I aquired enoigh parts to build up a KISS.  It shoots nice, but every time I pull the trigger, it lets off 2 or 3 shots.   WTF???

Is the disconnector spring missing or improperly installed?

Possibly, something in the lpk is out of spec.  Exchange disconnector, trigger, hammer, one at a time until cured.  But try the above luggestions first.

My vote is disconnector spring.
But the hammer engagement might be off too.
Where did the parts come from, they aren't M16 parts are they...
As noted swap out lower parts with known good quality AR15 parts until you can fix it.

This.

I saw this in a cop's AR15 he had just assembled.  I thought it was his "issue" select-fire rifle, until I saw the puzzled look on his face.  He accidentaly left out the disconector spring.  Simple fix.

I had a DPMS complete lower that I bought from a local AR store that did this. Took it back, discovered that when they assembled the LPK, the guy forgot to install the disconnector spring.

It appears the suggestions have been made to fix the problem, were here to help but this is a fine line between help and illegal activity. Thanks guys for keeping posts on point (for the most part)!
Im betting its the disconnector spring myself.
