Would this be a good quality replacement for my RRA Entry Tactical.

A good rail, but way over priced.

Try Bravo, they have it for $20 cheaper.

I have that rail (the MI in the first post) on an AR and I'm not a big fan.  The lower rail has quite a bit of play if you're using a vertical grip attached to the rail.

the existing plastic hanguards on my rifle are about 6 1/4 inches or so, will the new ones i order have to be the exact same size?

Yes. As far as the length goes and the areas where it connects to the gun, its all the same. Only difference as noted on Bravos website is on a Colt vs. other models. No gunsmith straight forward swap. FWIW, my buddy has had one on a Stag for 2.5 years with zero issues. Now if I was looking to putting a free floater on, my choices for best bang for the buck would be a YHM lightweight, followed by the MI unit.

I have this on one of my ARs and I like it a lot. Not solid like a FF, but a hell of a lot easier to take on and off.

Does anyone know if the mid length rails form either company will cover a chopped FSB or will a new GB be required?

The MI 10" FF won't clear the gas block on my sabre middy and I thought it was pretty low pro.  Sabre Middy w/MI Rail.  The last couple pics show the upper with a Troy FF installed on it.  The problem is the front ring won't clear the block.  It might work on a carbine since the ring will be beyond the gas block.

Does anyone know if this model will fit a RRA Entry Tactical? I am trying to find a rail that will fit my rifle. The factory guards are about 6 to 6 1/4 inches.  Trying to find rail that will fit.  Probably wont buy a free float.

The rails in the link are carbine rails. I'm assuming an Entry Tactical has a carbine gas system from the measurements you provided so yes, they will fit.

Yes they will fit. The entry-tactical has a "carbine-length" gas-system and it is a "carbine-length" rail
...all is disco!

You may want to consider a Troy MRF-DI as well, it's a little more ($150), but an EXTREMELY solid drop-in.

I went with the YHM carbine length from Bravocompanyusa.  They fit perfectly without any play in them.  Thank you everybody for the input.

Lets see the end result.

Specifically how you covered or didn't cover the GB.
