I thought about that. How much more do you think it would cost to build a M110 clone? Is the only difference between the two the stock?

Decide on that barrel you want and build the rifle around it.

Ummm...the M110 is a .308 with a 20" barrel.

Ummm...the Mk11 MOD 0 is an "SR-25" type 7.62mm precision rifle as well. Do you mean Mk12 MOD 0?

Now that I am done busting your balls....

You stated you have a carbine, so based off that info I would say build a recce. Then you wont have to buy a barrel too.

now, do you want a sniper type rifle, or a bench rest type rifle........to me a sniper style firearms is something that is not going to be so heavy that it breaks your back if you have to hump it for a while............while the PRS stocks are really nice, they are heavy....I have 2 of them.......the Vltor stock as pictured above is really comfy and not excessively heavy........

I would also stay away from a full bull barrel is you want a more sniper type rifle...........
