I have a 14.5 LMT upper. Has LMT logo and NO Forge mark

I also have a LMT Defender 2000 M4  Has the LMT Logo and a Forge mark that may be a Cardinal


Anyone have a LMT with forge mark

I own two of them. They were purchased back in 2005 or so, during a time when LMT was slammed. Because of this neither of mine have an LMT logo either.

I got my LMT upper in April 2005 without a forge mark, I'm pretty sure that LMT would get their raw forgings from one of the top forging suppliers, no problems with mine.

Dont know when I bought the LMT upper from Bravo Company
I do know it was before the defender 2000

There's another thread about the LMT logo on the uppers in the Rifles, Uppers, Lowers, Barrels and More forum, there's a pic there from a member that shows his early LMT upper didn't have the laser-etched LMT logo which he bought in 2004 from an ARFCOM dealer.

I dont like markings all that much
