Someone said that Sabre Defense won a contract to start supplying the US Military with M-16/M4's along with Colt and FN. Don't know if its true or NOT.
I do know that Sabre Defense does supply barrels for other US Military weapons and machine guns. I have read news articles that they have received special recognition from the government for their manufacturing processes that resulted in significantly improving the accuracy of the US Military weapons that received their new barrels. Most people are going to agree, they are a safe bet to get a good quality barrel for your AR. |

| I got a Sabre from Midway a couple weeks ago. It is the 24" bull fluted stainless steel with gas block and tube. It has a bead-blasted or rough surface that is definitely not shiny. I had the Remind setting going, so it popped up on my email. I had it maybe two minutes later. $370 to my door. What surprised me is the extension has M4 feed ramps. Not crazy about that, but overall I'm happy. |

What is your opinion of the barrels finish and overall quality? Any problems in the accuracy department when compared to similar barrels? |

We have a couple rifles now approaching 45,000 rds. Still sub-MOA rifle. Yes the Barrels are made of Vanadium. The only material rated for sustained .50 cal fire. And the only one allowed by the military. Yes they are a DOD contractor Yes they make the strongest/longest lasting barrel's on the market Yes they make the Barrels for the M2 .50 and are the only manufacturer that has the material to make it. Yes they make the M134 barrels. + others we can not say! In our opinion they are the best barrels on the market for the M4/M16 platform. They out shoot all our other barrel manufactures. And we carry all the top ones! Quoted:
