| I am new here, Been asking my hubby questions as I just became more interested in Stoner rifles (since the election) :( ...He said "I know quite a bit but you'll get more info just going to ar15.com. I want a 16" upper half to go with a Lower part I got at a gun show..It has a stock and grip and everything inside ,but I think the wait might be too long. We called the man that sells most of our gun stuff to us and he said like 2 or 3 months but didn't know for sure. |

| Wow, thanks to all for the welcome! I told my husband about all the greetings and he laughed. We get the same treatment at the shooting range and gunshows...LOL More and more smart girls are getting into shooting though so I'm not alone. When I go to a show and see another girl we always smile and nod at each other. Nice to feel wolcome! Thanks again! Wee going to do some driving to day to a little gunshow and see if we can find some parts to put a rifle together I guess... That mightbe kinda fun. |

November did some crazy things with the prices and availability of many things gun related. Although, one of the side benefits of the election is gun range, gun shows and gun shops have MUCH better looking and MUCH better smelling clients. The other benefit…new gun owners. My wife wanted and got a .38. My sister and her husband are each taking courses and buying something (undecided at the moment) for concealed carry. A female clerk at a local convenience store is getting her CHL. Some friends are buying a shotgun this weekend for home protection. These are the first time gun owners that I know of. Multiply this across the country and add in a little hoarding (not that there anything wrong with that), I see why there are slim pickin’s in the gun related industries. Be patient but prudent through these lean times and enjoy the new hobby! |
