I am building a 6.8 upper for a 3-gun rifle.   I would like it as light as possible, so I am having the barrel turned down.  What do you think the lightest profile acceptable would be before accuracy would suffer?  Keep in mind this does not have to be a tack driver, but still needs to reasonably accurate.  I was thinking somewhere in the .070" range.  I contacted WOA, and they didn't really have any input––they just said they would turn it down as much as they could.  Suggestions?

Thanks.

Perhaps WOA's response that "they would turn it down as much as they could" is the best answer.  Can't use the same profile as 5.56 featherweight/lightweight and you don't want to go too light.  Maybe ask here AR Variants or 68Forums for an educated answer.  Good luck.
