Best trigger is determined by two things.

How much $$$ do you want/willing to spend?

What kind of shooting ar you going to be doing with your rifle? (SHTF, varmint etc?)

If its for self defense, SHTF,....standard all the way. Period.

Yes, those target triggers are nice, and all that, but they can
present a problem when you least need it in a self defense/SHTF
situation.

Example: I had an AR once that had a target trigger installed. Cleaning
solvent got into those tiny little screws that set the pounds of triigger pull
and f**** it all up.  The trigger pull kept changing and and even bigger problem
was I didnt install it because I am mechanically challenged. So therefore I had
no idea how to correct it.  Bad, bad news in a SD/SHTF critical moment.

mabe one reason why the military doesnt have them.  You will want the strength,
reliabilty and consistancy of a standard trigger.

Another reason is if you were to use it in a self defense situation, lawsuits, criminal prosecution.
To all us here on this Board, a target installed trigger is just that, No big deal. But to the all the rest outside of the gun community, its major. If you kill/maim  with your
rifle in a self defense situation, the lawyers will spin it into the most sinister device since the atom bomb
in the doe-eyed minds of your soccer-mom jury who will sit in judgement of you. Thats with your life and finances,
hanging in the balance. And this will be mabe 1 1/2-2years after the shooting.

Well rested. Well fed. In a climate controlled court room. Having their emotions swayed by the theatrical perfomances
of the lawyers. Convincing them that you are the new "Timothy McViegh" who "planted" this said target trigger in his
weapon of mass destruction after removing the factory trigger.

Think people dont think this way?  wait till you walk into the court room.

And since the jury is pooled from the public, they can be anybody. You may even have a member of the Brady Campaign on your
jury and never know it.

dont gamble.

stick with the standard for self defense.

Outside of shootin 2 legged critters, have at it.
