I am wanting to do a rifle in either Tan or FDE.

Here is what I am thinking.

I will be doing one COMPLETE rifle in MAGPUL MOE gear,

For another build...
LMT SOPMOD in Tan
TD Panel covers
TD Battlegrip

For the 2nd build, how will the colors match, any other suggestions to match better?

Anyone have any pics for reference?

How do the tans match the tan eotech?

Consider Duracoat, I don't think you'll get colors from different manufacturers to match perfectly, they'll likely be a shade off at least.

The lighter colored Magpul rail cover is tan. The darker ones are FDE. There is a difference.

Consider doing something like this - changing parts out on the Vltor EMOD - if you want a unique look.

Above is kind of how I want to do it.

I am considering Duracoat also, I have done one before with accenting pieces and want to keep this look. Im keeping solid black for base and offset with tan. I actually was going to duracoat the small parts to matte the black receivers and furniture for a different look

What length barrell and handguard rail system is that 87GN?I lone the looks of that rifle.Have considered cutting a 6920 down to 13 inches and adding the KX3 to put it back at a legal 16.
