Do you own an LMT MRP. If so, what types of groups do you get? Please note barrel length, ammo, if you have the piston or non-piston version.

With the 16" version I was doing very well with ball and an Aimpoint, even with a 9 pound trigger. I have no doubt that had I benched it, it would do sub minute reliably.

Sub MOA with the right ammo easy.. Just like any other "Good" M4.. My LMT will do 1" at 100m with 62gr UltraMax, and sub moa with 68gr Match HP UltraMax.. I have not shot any 77gr Black hills Match yet as the Price is just to high, maby ill pick up 1 box if I can find one just to see how it will do.. But right now I have to work on finding ammo for my Glock 17 I just got.. I cant find any 9mm anywhere in Hawaii..

God quality ammo is the key, no matter which AR I shoot.  Yesterday I finally got to shoot my MRP piston upper equipped with a TA33 ACOG.  I was shooting 100 yards at standard 100 yard small bore targets and at unmarked cardboard silhouettes at 200 yards.  There was a noticeable difference between Portuguese 62 gr. 5.56 ball and Hornady TAP 77 gr. BTHP 5.56 loaded ammo at both distances.  The TAP groups were all definitely tighter compared to surplus ball.  My shooting partner had similar results in his AR equipped with a Noveske barrel.
