I'm just about done with my 14.5" middy build.  I acquired a H2 buffer from a friend, is this to heavy? BTW I'm also using a M16 BCG

Standard carbine or H buffer.

H2 buffers should work but since everyone are using different ammo loads you should try it out with the ammo you got.

I use standard carbine buffer on my 16" middy also with M16 BCG with an additional bolt extractor Crane O-ring.

My O-rings came from Bravo Company and ADCO.

It may be wise to have different buffers on hand.  It just depends on the gun.  For what it's worth I run a 14.5, M16 carrier, and standard carbine buffer.  No problems thus far.

H buffer will probably be your best all around buffer. H2 might short stroke on some lighter loads. I use a H buffer in my 16' MP15, with a LMT enhanced FA BCG.
