I stumbled upon this site while I was looking at AR's on the web. I'm currently thinking about getting an AR because I like shooting and I want something that's accurate, fun to shoot, can be modified, and can be used for some hunting. Anyway, I've been looking online at Rock River and I just think I want a basic model, but I can't decide between 16" and 20." I'll lean one way then the next. What are the necessary options I should consider getting if I go through with it? I also should mention that I don't exactly have a ton of money to spend, but I do have a little.
Also, I went to the local gun store and they don't have any AR's but they have some Saiga AK's in .223 for $440. This would save me a lot of money (I could get two guns for the price of one) but would I be as happy with the purchase? What are your opinions? I'm sure this has been gone over time and time again so please forgive if I am beating a dead horse. |
