Probably a dead horse topic, but which receiver out of the dozen makers do people prefer?

CMMG
ROGGIO
TERRITORIAL GUNSMITH
SPIKES
LRV?
MEGA
STAG
DEL-TON
ANVIL ARMS
ESSENTIAL ARMS
DOUBLE STAR

Not to mention the billet lowers out there. All of the above range from $100 to $249. How does one make a choice?

You make your choice either by finish, roll mark, availability & price. Or based on what everyone else has or how you tend to make decisions. No one else can make it for you.

As long as its not Hesse/Vulcan they're pretty much the same. Just pick the logo you like best.

Some claim that they wire EDM the mag well, and another eliminates sharp corners reducing internal stresses. Sometimes it all seems like hype.

Currently, yes. What I meant was the ones that are $100 +/- a small amount. Like the 2 Essentials I got for $124 ea. shipped and transferred.

I've used Ameetech, Doublestar, Stag and Essential Arms. They're all good, but I didnt care for the color of the Stag. Right now Essential Arms are the way to go, only $100 apiece for up to 5 lowers.
