A friend pointed this out ot me the other day. Are all fsc556's like this? I'm definately a function over form person and it's such a small detail , but now I'm curious. Is this normal? http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e174/chicagoV12/Guns/b1.jpg http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e174/chicagoV12/Guns/b2.jpg The gap on mine is similar but not quite as bad. Shouldn't affect anything. |

Anyone have one that's the same on both sides? |

The gap on the starboard side of mine measures .122" while the gap on the port side measures .117". |

Another one has a slightly larger gap. Both worked fine. |

I don't have an accurate way to measure it at the moment but I would say mine are about .05 and .10 respectively. You'd think that specs for a muzzle device would be a little more precise, no? |

The right side of the comp should indeed be different from the left side of the comp. This is true for all of the DNTC series and the FSC series. It is what makes the comps work so well. The size of the port may also vary depending on the production run. This has no effect on performance.

It works great I had just never looked at it that closely before. |
