i recently purchased a surefire muzzle brake and was curious if anyone knew if there were any special steps to follow when installing it.  hand tighten?  tighten to a certain torque weight?  it did not come with any installation instructions and i have looked on line with no luck.<br />thanks

It should have come with a vial of rockset, shims, and instructions.

You use the shims to index it correctly, there is a sheet that helps you figure out which shims you need.

If you actually plan on using one of their cans, use the Rockset and washers supplied.

If you don't plan on using one of their cans, a crush washer will work fine too (much easier than the timing process...).

Usually until the notch lines up on the bottom.
