Just went to the range with my brother so he could shoot his new Del-ton middy. The DPMS trigger that del-ton uses seemed very difficult to put into the rifle compared to a Stag I had put into another lower. Whenever he pulled the trigger after the first round was ejected it wouldn't fire. When I pulled the upper off and looked at it, the trigger seemed to have two positions.
The first position of the trigger was higher and when you pulled the trigger, the hammer would fall. The second position was slightly lower and when you tried pulling the trigger, nothing. So, I finally got the trigger to reset after moving the safety to fire and back to safety and back to fire an unknown ammount of times. You would hear the trigger reset {very subtle} and then fire one more round and then have to move the safety selector a few more times for it to reset to fire another round. We continued doing that for maybe 20 rounds and I eventually just put my lower on his upper to just continue to break in his upper. What say you ARFCOM? 
Oh and if you hand cycled the bolt, the trigger would reset fine. But while shooting, I guess, the bolt would push the hammer too far down not allowing a follow up shot? |

Yeah, would it be possible to have a disconnector spring put too much pressure on the system for it to function?
Also, when I'm checking the trigger with my palm, I pull the trigger when the hammer is forward and then try to push the trigger back into the locked position and when it goes back down, it doesn't necassarily click, but it sets down and I can't pull the trigger to release it {until I work the safety and the trigger clicks up and then it'll fire}. |

Found it in the search that I had the wrong spring, thanks Quib.
Seems as though I used the incorrect spring because it has no difference on either end being larger than the other. Daggonit. 
I'll see if I can get the spring quickly. I know a place that has all the parts in stock. Thanks again.
