Well After reading as much as I can to try to understand the AR-15 I still need some help. There are a few diff makers out there for the AR-15 what do you guys/gals think about the once I have listed. If you can give me good and bad points please.

they all make quality rifles
If you really want to search some more, you will find which components arent mil spec in each of the manufacturers. you have the bushy haters you have the dpms haters - more so than the bushy haters it seems what do you think the AR in AR-15 stands for, wait for it........ Armalite dont read many stag hater posts I have a bushmaster and havent had any problems with it. I am not worried that it will fail me |

Of the ones you mentioned I would choose Stag first then Bushmaster or Armalite. Any of them will most likely serve you well though. I would also do some more research before you
make a final decision. In my opinion S&W makes a better rifle than all the above brands for the same price range. |

Stagarms Bushmaster DPMS Panther arms Armalite Honestly, none of them are as bad as Hesse, Vulcan, Blackthorne, or to a lesser degree Olympic. I'd own all of the four you listed. DPMS is probably the worst of the four you listed and their newer stuff is fairly nice. I just don't like DPMS barrels or glacier guards. |

Well first I would like to thank everyone for there feedback. I don't want to pay out the butt for my first ar but most of all I just want to make sure I get a nice(real made) ar.
I know from other things in life there is always the once who loves it or the one who hates it. I learn this when I got my first hand gun......lol Thanks you once more. Also if there is anyone who would like to give there feedback would great. |
