I just got a new, (used) A2 upper with a 24" HBAR.  It looks like it could be a very accurate rifle.  I'd like to put a good scope on it for occasional varmint and target shooting but all of the mounts I've seen only attach with the single carry handle screw which looks to me like would be a little bit sloppy.  Do those mounts actually do a good job of staying secure and is one brand any better than others?  Has anyone used the carry handle mounts and do they maintain accuracy or start moving around after several shots?  Any comments or suggestions would be helpful.

Look into A.R.M.S. mount #2. Yes they do a very good job, and no thier not sloppy if you install them correctly. Remember, scopes were put on top of the carry handle way before you ever heard of a flat-top.
