I want to install a seven inch free float rail system, Im looking at Troy, Daniel Defence and La Rue. Any opinions on which one, the rifle is used as a tool not something that sits around and looks pretty so durability and stability is priority. If you could give me a reason why to go with one over another. Thanks for the help.

DD Omega

ETA: Simple to install, rock solid, doesn't require permanent modifications to your upper, and makes a continuous top rail.

Double triple quadruple ditto on the DD Omega. You can add it to your system in 10 minutes with no mods or return your system to KISS in the same amount of time. Great customer service too.

Another vote for the DD Omega. I am having an upper built with the Noveske barrel, PWS piston, DD 9.0 and have only heard good things about DD.

Troy isn't a bad idea either.

I feel the LaRue may be the most rugged...either way it's definitely up there. Very solid, top-quality stuff.

Yeah I too like the Laure rails.  Once secured, you are NOT going to torque it at all!  They are lightweight and very durable.  That said I also have a Troy two piece that hasn't failed me yet either.  Still if given the choice...LARUE!
