I wish I had taken a picture but it slipped my mind at the time. I was in my local gun shop and saw a pretty interesting Rock River Rifle for sell. It was used but in good shape. It had a nice aftermarket stock, quad rail, and even an Eotech. The weird think was the roll mark on the lower receiver. It wasn't your typical Rock River branding. I don't know the correct word to describe it but it looked kind of primitive. I don't know much about the history of Rock River Arms and if it has changes its branding over the years but this one was new to me. this is basically what was stamped on the side.

Rock River Arms
Model blah blah...
Serial #

I'm not joking when I say it looked just like that except for the blah blah part. My question is this a true Rock River rifle or something else?

Yes, the original RRA lowers have text only, no symbols or logo. "Rock River Arms" on three lines in stair step pattern.
