Current build: A3 upper, A2 stock, 20" HBAR, A2 front sight post, LMT BIUS, MIAD grip. Last decision...forearm.

Obviously the HBAR makes her heavy. I want to watch the weight but also looking for SHTF survivability. Not interested in using her for a prybar but would like to be able to drop her and not have to pound her back into shape

Any recommendations are welcome.

Thanks in advance from an old trooper.

you would have to try really hard to bend a lightweight or m4 profile (government profile, on a 20"er)

that is not a good reason to have the extra weight.

I am leaving the plastic on my Hbar because of the weight. I've put YHM 2 pc non freefloated on my gov profile, it's still more managable than the Hbar.
