I just installed a FAB Defense VRF quad rail on my Rock River and can't seem to get the rail covers to go on. They won't snap on and if I try to slide them on, they won't move forward. There weren't any instructions in the box for this. What is trick to do put them on.

What type of covers do you have?

The ladder style, just hook one side of the ladder under the rails' edge, then basically roll them on.

The Tango Down panels just slide on from the front. There is a little tab you hold up while sliding them on.

These are the only ones I have experience with..

Sounds like ladders. They take some effort. Start with one side. You can also heat them up a bit.

I just sold my magpul ladders for the softer surefire ones instead.

Its ladder style, I hadn't thought about heating them up a little. Someone, told me to bend them back until they snapped on. I've got time tomorrow, so I'll try to get them on.
