[ARCHIVED THREAD] - My first AR!

Just so happy to finally have one, I thought I would share some pics.

Picked it up at Sportsman's Warehouse the day after Thanksgiving for $789 (actually bought two of them!)

I know it isn't the best quality, but I added a UTG rail that I picked up from a buddy. Sure seems like a pretty solid rail.

I think the only other thing I am going to add is a nice set of BUIS.

$789...sounds like you were one of hte lucky one's at a Sportsmen's WH. Good job. What time did you have to be at the door for that one?

I'll tell you guys one thing, this AR stuff is addictive! I have went from have no AR-type rifles about a month ago to buying 2 complete rifles, 2 stripped lowers, and 1 complete lower.

Been into guns my whole life, and I can't believe I am just now realizing how cool these black rifles are!
