Since the upper receiver is aluminum and the bolt carrier is steel does the upper tend to wear out more quickly than other parts on the rifle? Also what parts are prone to break that I should keep on hand.Thank You.

You might want to look at the "What parts breaks in a Carbine Course" thread. It's tacked in AR-15 forums. Gonna have to eventually replace bolt , rings, extractor and assoc. parts, barrel if you shoot it enough. Maybe more stuff if they are subpar parts. The actual upper should outlast all of those by quite abit more I would think.
