Any products or styles that were the "MUST HAVE" item at one time?Only to be laughed at now! Oh Please, Don't get me started on gimmicks and fads for the AR-15. These are the Golden Days of fads. Never in the history of the AR-15 has so much garbage been available. Someday we'll look back at what's available today and just laugh and laugh and laugh. |

ARMS S.I.R. Accu-wedge Gapper I actually liked the Accu-Wedge. I don't know if it helped accuracy any, but it took away the annoying play between the upper and lowers on both my AR-15A2, and CAR-15A2. My Colt M4/6920 doesn't seem to have much play in them. |

When I joined, it seemed the common build was an M4 style, then the mid-length uppers started to become popular. Coyote Brown started to get popular a bit later for color choice. Noveske wasn't talked about much at all. I got a lower from him because I liked the aethetics The serial number is under 175, so I guess he was just starting to offer lowers around then. Now Noveske is "all the rage", it seems.

How ridiculous were the fixed M4 stocks. My old post ban bushmaster was a 16" A2 with the A2 stock. I wanted an M4 stock but couldn't justify spending the dough on one that would collapse. I shake my head every time on that one. That was the law, homey. |
