Hi all. I'm new to this forum and just purchased my first AR15 used from a private owner. It is a Rock River and I'm having an issue. Occasionally a spent round will hang up in the ejector. The new round is seated appropriately, but the slide comes forward and bends the empty brass. Any advice? I don't want to return the gun, I bought it from a good guy, and I don't know that I would be able to replace it at the price I got it for anyway.
Thanks in advance.

If it's and ejector problem then no need sending a complete AR back, also no reason you can't just remove the old ejector from your bolt and replace both the ejector and spring. Cost about $3 at most and your time. Then try shooting it again.

Clean that puppy first and make sure shit/carbon fouling is not causing the problem.
