First, I want to say what a great site, very informative and interesting discussions. Glad I found it! I don,t even have an E.B.R. yet and I think I may already be infected if thats possible Question, I can get on a wait list for stag, rra, and a few of the other more popular lowers I've seen discussed here or I can buy a "Gunsmoke" lower from a local dealer who has them in stock. HE is asking 130 for them. The other lowers that I would have to get on a wait list (2/wks-month plus) are going for 160 to 225. Any thoughts on the gunsmoke lower. Thanks

Welcome! I've never heard of a Gunsmoke lower. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in here.
Pretty much any known brand is gonna be good––Bushmaster, RRA, Del-Ton, LMT, Stag, DPMS, Doublestar, etc. Most will say Colt, Noveske and LMT are the best. I say Mil-Spec, good quality aluminum, and it's fine. |
