just picked up a nice new gun case.
whats the best tool to use to cut & conture the foam to my AR.
I dont want to bollocks up another one

I use chalk to outline and then use scissors and a carpet knife.
The key is to take your time.

If you don't want to pay $60 for a wire cutter, a $10 electric carving knife is a good way to cut it. It doesn't look as good as the wire cut though.
