Hey all, there's a Colt 6920 Carbine in my local gun shop for $1489.  Does that sound like a good deal?  Its NIB and looks really nice.  I wasn't planning on getting another black rifle, but with the election turning out the way it did I'm not so sure now.  Thanks.

I paid 1199 NIB for mine but I got it before the election.  I don't know if that's a good price post election.

I paid $1475 on Thursday, at a local gun store, picking it up this Wednesday.

Almost 1,500 no thanks. Look at the Charles Daly AR15s.  They DID THEIR HOMEWORK! on them and made their LE carbines right.

It should be somewhere between 1199 and 1299. They won't wiggle?

Yeah, $1489.00 is a GREAT price if:

1. A free gallon of vaseline is included.
2. They buy you dinner at a nice restaurant first.
3. Then take you to a movie.
4. Give you a free reach-around & wipe your bottom when they're done.

$1200 should be topps... check gunbroker.com

I suggest you check Gunbroker again.  As of 5 mins ago, there aren't any NIB LE6920 rifles for sale there under $1425.  There is one NIB rifle on GunsAmerica for sale for $1260, but all the rest are over $1450.

I paid $1200 for mine in Feb of this year (Clyde Armory) and they've been going up ever since.

I got mine off gunbrokers at the end of October for $1199. Keep your eyes open on gunbroker and you may see some deals come through.

Saw a metric ass-ton of them in Tulsa today, going for the low, low price of $1999 EACH. Some poor bastard asking all kinds of questions about them, and reaching for his wallet.  I had to walk by and shake my head.

I saw the 6920's at the Tulsa show for 2k and about crapped my pants.

TK Supply did not go apeshit and raise all their prices.  They were selling a 6920 for 1450 and DPMS stripped lowers for $119 (until someone bought em out).  TK Supply is awesome.

I bought mine only about 2 months ago NIB off gunbroker for $1159.  I don't know if there will be any more like that, but I'd keep looking.  $1400 is really gouging IMO to say the least.

I'm so glad I bought mine before Obama bin Biden won.
My local dealer has 2 of them. They jacked them up $50 after the election results came out. $1350 + shipping.

Tanners Sport Center is the best place to buy your Colt. Ask anyone who has bought from him. I just got my 6920 from him for $1199. This is straight from the man himself in response to a thank you email I sent him. "We are hoping to get another big batch in a few weeks. Hopefully the price will stay the same."

Call Tanners and ask when they may be expecting the next shipment so you can get ahead of the curve and be ready to bid when he posts it on GB. Top notch merchant, his reputation is well deserved.
