Who has the best deals lately? Use to get some Eagle Arms Lowers from Quantico for around $100 ea. stripped but don't see where any Eagle Arms lowers are ven available any more.
Thought maybe I'd grab a DPMS but WOW! ...more than I'm willing to pay for a stripped lower.
So who has the best deals going right now? |

For $50 more I'll probably go for an Armalite. |

I just have to say it. Why not CMT/Stag Arms, Milspec and a great receiver, or Bushmaster, or DPMS, or RRA for that matter? I know it's all about the stamping on the receiver, but right now I'd go with the best price to be able to put more into my builds.
Just my 2 cents. |

Aim has not raised prices....

So who has the best deals going right now? Man...you're behind the 8-Ball on this one. The morning after the election, many dealers used it as an excuse to hike prices (in some cases) nearly 80-100% on stripped lowers. I normally used "Spike's Tacitcal"––-but after their latest price-gouging from going from $95.00 to $179.00 on the morning after the election, I won't be buying anything from them again. You can still find some Essential Arms and Double Star lowers out there (lower quality)...but a lot of the more notable named receivers (DPMS) etc. are extremely difficult to find as people have been in "full-on" panic mode, snapping up parts kits and stripped lowers like madmen (and women). Most of these however, start around $140. (in good cases) and get higher. Hope this helps...of course in less than 30 seconds, someone is going to post that "I'm retarded" and link you to some $95.00 receivers somewhere...but, that is the way of ARFCOM. EDIT: Holy crap that was fast ^^^^^^ LOL I'm not trying to defend Spikes in anyway but they gave everyone a heads up at the last group buy that might be the last time you see lowers selling for $100.00 Each with the election just around the corner. My thought on this one is you shouldn't have waited so long to buy some extra lowers. Now if McCain was elected the panic buying wouldn't be like it is today. |

If one has got a bit of an open mind, one could read Superior's website and read posts here and elsewhere about Superior Arms' product...like I did before buying. You'll find yourself with an excellent lower at a lower rate. Then you won't feel foolish when you could've saved quite a bit. I can add the lower parts kit for the price you'll pay for just the stripped receiver. I like that. Savings like these (and the others I made) have allowed me to have a much better and elaborately featured gun than I could've had using the same parts from manufacturers which have higher overheads, including advertising, free catalogs and polo shirts for distributors to pay for. You do know we're talking about a rifle whose design derives from the 60s, right? Doesn't exactly demand ONLY the latest equipment and technology to create its receiver. In fact, many buy the raw receiver and go from there. If home-shop hobbyists can do it, so can a small(er) manufacturing entity. But...to each his own. I like my S-15:
