Is there a left handed safety/fire selector or does that require a left handed striped lower? Are there "ambidextrous" selectors ? Thanks guys for any input

FWIW, Stag Arms sells a decent ambidextrous selector too.
I'm a lefty, but I don't know of anybody making a true left-handed selector. IIRC, the Stag left-handed rifles come with an ambi selector. I once took an ambi selector and lopped off the lever on the palm side and it worked/felt just fine. |

JP makes one that has a removable thumb thingy so you have have either a right handed version, ambi (providing you buy the second side) or one on just the right side of the rifle.
I use a standard ambi selector. It used to bug me at first with my index finger rubbing on the selector part but I have gotten used to it. |

(Stag upper, JP selector) |
