what type of bushy trigger is it? I installed jp lightweight springs on my RRA 2 stage. My brother has a bushy 2 stage that is adjustable and it got all messed up when he started messing with it. It doubles and the hammer drops on a but slam. I bought a single stage chip mccormick and absolutely love it. |
| as far as i know is just a single stage.. its a standard BM xm 15 - in a1 config.. (i don't like the flattops never have) a 16" car.. i haven't done any mods to it yet as i love it & been tring to decide what to do. but with the prices of ammo & 2 boy not old enough to shoot it been heavy in .22 - namely 10/22's so i can build with them.. this is next in line.. |

Thats what I use. |

Reduced power hammer springs only lengthen the already long lock time. There isn't much that can be done to a trigger to reduce pull other than precise angle of the sear surfaces to prevent most of the "stacking", this is where trigger pull causes the hammer to move backwards, slightly. But be aware, the hammer and trigger are case-hardened and removal of any significant thickness of metal will make the surfaces wear rapidly.
