Does this trap heat in like BM says? I think it would fill the emptiness on the front and look better. what do you think?

I just thought of something..  Wouldnt you have to remove the gas tube, and replace it through one of those holes? along with the FSB. hummmm I am just stating the obvious. That seems like alot of work for such a accessory.

it doesn't trap heat, its designed to allow air flow for cooling

that all depends on your set up..... if you have a front sighted gas block then yes, you would have to do that, and would be better off installing this with the handgaurd....

now if you have a set up like mine with a milled down gas block that sits under the F/F handgaurd then no..... i also have a comp on my bushy thats the same dia. as the BBL so makes installing things like that really easy

edit/add: if you look really close you can see they have a low pro gas block under the handgaurd
