This is going to be an extremely dumb question but how the hell do i attach this sling to my AR? Ive tried a couple variation with the metal loop things and nothing seems right?hinking.gif

NOTE: my sling mounts are the typical rectangle loops....i took a pic of the rear, front is the same.

Run the end of the strap through the ring and then come back, to double side of the buckle on the strap, and thread it back through, on top of the strap already going through it.

You can also loosen the screw on the rear ring and swivel it toward the side, if it works better for you.

Nothing wrong with a $5.00 strap. They do pretty much the same thing that the $150.00 set ups do. They secure the weapon to the shooter. They just don't perform the "carbine class trickery" everyone is trying to sell you on. Do you really care? Those beer cans will wait patiently if you want to adjust it.

My favorite sling for my ARs are the simple nylon sling like you pictured.

I remove all my sling swivels. The front one bangs around, makes noise, the rear one always digs into my peck. Tie your sling on with parachute cord.
