Well I'm a college student.

It's illegal to keep guns in your dorm.

Actually the handbook says on campus, but then when I asked the police chief for the campus about keeping one in a car he said it was highly frowned upon(whatever that means)

Well, I joined a fraternity, a law enforcement one, since it is my major. Alot of them compete in competitions, and one holds guns for members who live on campus, so I figured I would get my guns back down here and get back to IDPA and 3 gun.

Well, I bought a Storm IM3100 for $152, I was just wondering how I did on the price, And you guys think this will be sufficient with it locked to keep wondering eyes, or hands, off my AR and 1911?

$152 is a good price.

You're going to want to find a better place to store your guns. The foam in hard cases collects moisture and seals in it when you close the case. I've seen guns stored in hard cases rust in Nevada. It'll be worse in Kentucky.

Really? Had I know that I would have not bought the case

Any way to prevent this?

Get a good soild smaller gun safe...400pounder and use some Hydrosorbent Silica Gel inside.
