hey all, Was wondering if 240yards is to far for 11.5 barrel? With like 55 be or 62 gr bullets I know that velocity is lost with shorter barrel but what about range? Thanks |
My buddy has a 10.5 Bushmaster barrel with the 5.5 flash hider and it's not aaaccurate, but it can easily hit man sized targets at 200-250 yards with magnified optics. A red dot was a bit harder for the two of us to hit the man-sized targets every time from a standing position, but that's hard for me to do with my M4 so...

We just did a intermediate carbine course and shot all the guns out to 500. Every gun from 10.5 to 20" with everything from irons to ACOGs could hit a man in the chest at 500 no problem. read the AAR here InSights IDR AAR |
