I remember reading about "torquing" the castle nut when installing the tube.  But in the "Build it yourself" thread, it just says to tighten it.

So just tighten really good, and call it good?

Tighten it just about as good as you can using hand pressure on the castle nut wrench, and then stake the thing down.

No need to use a breaker bar or anything crazy.

I'm not sure if there is a ft/lb spec for torquing the tube to the lower receiver, but I just used a strap wrench and tightened on there pretty tight since I didn't have the proper spanner wrench.  Some people also stake or loctite their tubes onto their receivers.  Up to you, dude.

OK, thanks.  I planned on staking it, but didn't know if there was a specific way of going about it.  My first AR was bought with the lower complete, so I'm still learning.
