I picked up a RRA upper with rather odd looking rails a couple of months ago. Didn't pay too much attention to the rials, their design or anything like that at the time.

Fast forward to tonight. I decided to pull it out of the safe and attach one of my EOTechs and a Tango Down VFG.  I'm planning on using it as a spare upper in a Defensive carbine class this weekend (nothing like waiting until the last minute..)The VFG took a bit of light tapping to get it to engage the rails and to get it to slide down. I DIDN'T pound the hell out of it..just tapped enough to get it to move.

I didn't notice beforehand but not the rail system had about a 1/16th to an 1/8th inch movement in it. It might have done it before the VFG install, but I didn't notice it. I think I'm noticing it now with the VFG installed on said rails. I checked the rails, no screws to tighten that I could see. It seems to be under the locking collar like my other ARs..
Is it even something I should be concerned with?

Pics?

If you post pics, we can tell you what kind of rail it is and POSSIBLY a solution.
