New 6920 > AR Discussions

I present my new 6920. Everything was purchased from industry partners here on this site. ADCO for the rifle, Bravo Company,PK and Rainer for everything else. I had the stock,acog and rear buis.
Specs: Colt 6920
ACOG TA338-R
Larue mount
Magpul 93b
Magpul MIAD
GGG MAD rear buis
Troy front buis
Daniel Def. 10" lite rail
Surefire ladder covers (superior to magpul in my opinion)
Viking 2pt sling w/DD QD rail loop.
Vortex flash suppresor
What do you think?

Very nice but why do you cover up the S/N? Do you cover up your Auto Tag also?

It's a common practice on the Internet. Any reason he shouldn't?

I really like it. Both eyes open for fast shooting (the cheveron becomes a dot) or slow down and use the tip of the cheveron for precision. I have had aimpoints and I like this better.

I just think it's and old wives tale thats been around for years. Keep your firearm S/N covered because someone might say it's their lost or stolen firearm or careful someone will stamp your S/N on their firearm and use it to KILL someone.

Ha!! Ha!! man what a funny thing. Hey I did not tell him or her not to do it I just asked WHY they did it.

Any reason I shouldn't ask it?

I would like to know more about your UBR stock. How does it compare to the CTR? I gather its heavier, is it also more stable? any other advantages/

How bout a pic of the whole AR?I just got a 6920 too an like the DD rail and would like to see a good pic of the rifle from stem to stern.
