I'm working on a project and the question of soft primers came up.
Does any manufacturer intentionallly market soft primer ammunition?
Have you ever heard of an AD due to a soft primer?

[1]IMHO I don't think they do.
[2]I have read posts saying it happened but myself I have not seen it happen.

I dont know if they make them "softer" but there are harder primers to be had. I use a cci primer and it is so hard the pin mark looks kinda rolled out, like hitting steel with a center punch. CCI primers are my favorite.

Use CCI #41 'military' primers for semi auto .223s such as AR, Mini-14, etc.
