I really like the feel of RRAs star shaped selector. I have only handled it in guns shops or at shows, I have not had a chance to shoot one yet with gloves on.   I know it is my gun, but what are your opinions?  Is it a worthwhile upgrade?

Most importantly, will this need to be fitted to a stock trigger?  I have looked at the tacked thread concerning assembly, and whenever I put mine together, the selector just goes in.

Thanks.

I tried one and didn't like it. It just didn't swing right using my thumb, I had to change my grip. I put the stock one back in. YMMV.

Should be a "drop in" part. No need for fitting.

Drop in replacement for std safety/selector.
It isn't for everyone, but what is?  It is a bit better for tactile ue (not being able to see it to engage/disemgage it)...find the "star" and follow the "beam" to it's poition (horizontal beam to safe, vertical beam to fire).  We also have an anbi version now.

Thanks Steve,
I usually wear gloves and I like the idea of the star.  I will order one next time I order from Brownells and give it a try.

Thank you all for the information.
