I have a RRA Tac Entry and the split pin in the buffer came out about a 16th of an inch and caused it to drag on the spring when charging the rifle.  I set it back in and it is now operating fine.  Question: Will this continue to happen now that it has happened once?  Can you buy the pin by itself or should I just replace the entire buffer assembly?  Thanks for your help!!!!

If it worked it's way out once it will surely do it again. You are not the first member to have this happen, I would call Rock River and see what they will do for you.

if you buy a pin get the longer one, 1". Replace the old pin and grind the new one to fit.  If you only use a pin thats the exact diameter of the buffer, the end of the pin is rounded over slightly, which will cause it to wear/break.

I had to replace a few in my 9mm buffers, the new "custon pins are holding up much better
