Gentlemen,

I am writing this topic to get some info and advice from anybody that has experienced issues with the gas plug on the new bushmaster gas piston upper. I recently purchased a gas piston upper from bushmaster and mounted it to a DPMS lower receiver. Several weeks later after firing about 50 rounds through it, I brought it out to inspect it and practice function checks. While doing this I noticed something hit my rug and looked down to see that the bottom half of the gas plug had sheered off exposing the spring and button that allow the gas plus to be taken off the receiver.
I ask for advice from anybody who has had this problem or issue and what they did to remedy the situation. Was customer service very helpful at bushmaster and is this type of issue covered by the warranty? Is there a replacement gas plug online for a good price? I appreciate any advice ya'll can give me.

just call customer service they are great and will work with you even pay for shipping in to them. also before this happened did you take it apart to clean inside the piston housing chamber? it's the POF system i assume(400 for the aries or 1000 for the pof). what probably happened was the push button locking mechanism was put on backwards.

Try something like photobucket.com.

Upload your pictures there and then post the link.

If that doesn't work, send me an email or IM, I'll host them for you.

Screw all the account creation stuff, just go here:

http://www.imageshack.us/

Then hit "Browse" and find the photo on your computer.  Hit the "Host it" button at the bottom and let the photo upload.  When it's done, copy the very bottom link on the page, then come here and hit the photo button on the "Insert tags" column.  It's the 3rd one from the right, looks like this:

Right click and paste the link you copied from the bottom of the ImageShack page into this box.

It takes just a few seconds, the longest part is waiting for your image to upload to ImageShack.
