So today is the next to last vacation for me.  During my summer break I like to get in four, all by my selfies range trips (two rifle and two pistol.)  This was the last one.  I wanted an endurance test of my CMMG upper and EOTech.  I had twice my basic load, or 280 rounds of mixed brass stuff (SA surplus, Wolf M193, some WWB and a little Lake City) and about 20 rounds of Wolf steel cased left over from the last match.  I wanted to empty out of the safe as I have plentiful Lake City for my go-to ammo, and use Wolf primarily for training and matches.

Anyway I started out with some position change drills, standing kneeling-prone at 50 meters.  Then a bunch of double tap drills left and right handed, then some 100 yard shooting and some transition drills.  I wanted to shoot at 200 but that range was being mowed.

Signs of a happy ARFCOM day.  That AR is smoking hot, even after I picked up the brass.

The happy Arfcommer

Last set of targets after transition drills @ 25 meters.

And just because every day cant be perfect...

Damn, I thought Toyota's would run until the end of time. I did about the same thing you did yesterday. I ran about 400rds through my go to carbine in about a hour or so. Standing, kneeling, prone, california prone, left hand, right hand, single hand and a few other postions I forget the name of. All was done at 50yrds or less. Didn't do any transitions though. Been a while since I did some shooting like that. I found a bunch of brass that some rich guy must have not cared about too.

oh and I lost a earplug midway through a string of fire and didn't realize it. My left ear is just now getting back to normal.
