The color, markings & thickness of the aluminum don't look right. What makes you ask if you got taken? I'm thinking Airsoft clone.

That and the biggest thing I noticed was that the threaded part that the lock ring threads onto is part of the tube itself-it's not a seperate piece.....

The Krylon paint should have been the first clue. Not to mention the terrible casting, incorrect markings, and paired vents. We wont talk about the rail cuts.

Don't feel too bad, it happens. After you have been around the real stuff for awhile, you'll be able to spot junk from across the gun show floor. There is plenty of it there.

I just saw this after I did a post for some markings on KAC panels. I got an M4 MAtch rifle length and the panels it came with had a number under the Knights. Is this the new marking?

Dont have em anymore, just curious. It was all purchased new a month ago. Im pretty sure the rail is legit, the 3 panels were just marked different.

I've found that eBay almost all fake gear will be listed as "XXX style whatever," the seller is from Hong Kong, the price is too low or it's titled with the name of known Airsoft manufacturers. All these are big clues that should make the buyer well aware before they click the bid or buy it now button. There are a few that knowingly & intentionall sell fake crap under the guise of being the real thing but thankfully I've never run into that.

BUT, in the OP's case I bet the dealer knew full & well that he was selling junk gear with the name of a major manufacturer painted on the side to the OP. There's got to be something criminal about that.

I believe so. I have some markings too " IS202" or something like that.
