Hey, I would just like to thank everyone on the forums for helping me pick our my first AR.  Sadly, I'm overseas and won't get to shoot it until I build up some leave.  For now it's just sitting at my parent's house.

Rock River 20" A4 1:9 twist, chrome lined
RRA Quad Rail Free Float
RRA Flip Front Sight / Gas Block
Arms #40 rear sight
I will buy an optic when I move back to the states.  Who knows what new expensive stuff will come out by 2011.

Enjoy.

Very nice! And there is nothing wrong with a finger on the trigger if she is ready to shoot

Yeah, my dad was the one that put everything on, so he has limited knowledge of everything.  I told him how to set everything up though.

My next AR is going to be a 20", perhaps a plain A2 upper. As much as I like my 16" 12 years in the army still has me thinking 20" is the "right" length (I was in before the M4 saw widespread issue.)

Great choice.

My first AR was a 16" RRA Elite CAR A4.  My second was a 20" RRA A4.  Both have chrome-lined barrels and the 20" has a Wylde chamber.  They are both very accurate.
