Bad ass scope for the money and it has the forever warranty, plus I really like the ballistic plex reticle. www.swfa.com/pc-9039-203-burris-3-9x40-fullfield-ii-rifle-scope.aspx ![]()

I'd take a look at a company called Sightron as well. I picked up a 3-9x40 mill-dot from a local gun shop and paid about $150 for it. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the glass and overall function. I'd purchase one again and have no reservation about suggestion on to someone else. IMHO, I paid less for something then it was worth-a rarity these days. Oh, and they have a lifetime no-fault warranty as well. Check them out! http://www.sightron.com/ |
If it works for you and you like it then who gives a shit what others say? Its your rifle, your scope, you have to shoot it, you pay for it, no one else has to like what you have. Instead of listening to everyone telling you what you have is junk, just go shoot it and enjoy. If it breaks or gives you problems, then consider upgrading or replacing, but if its doing its job just fine, then throw the extra cash in savings or investments. Screw what the masses think, use what works for you and your budget. You do not have to drink the kool aid to enjoy shooting. Use what you want to use instead of what everyone else thinks you should be using, they aint payin the bills. edited because I was a little harsh when I typed this last night. Just a sore spot for me, I cant stand people saying what someone else is running is junk when it obviously works just fine for the person using it. Sure it may not be top of the line, but not everyone needs a top of the line rifle or components to punch holes in paper. Would it be nice to have a $6-7000 rifle and optics package to play with? Yes it would, reality and budget dictate otherwise for a large number of people who still enjoy shooting and do just fine with less. |
