Well, I finaly made the decision to throw down the money for a Noveske rifle.  This is going to be my patrol rifle, and I was hoping I could get some advice on which flash hider to get.  They offer the standard A2, Surefire muzzle brake, Vortex and the AAC.  I would like the Surefire, but I'm not sure that having a muzzle brake while shooting along side other officers would be a good idea.  Do you guys have any preferences?

Thanks.

Which FH to get depends upon barrel length.

14.5" with perm. FH...SDI Ext. A2, Vortex and Phantom 5C1. In that order.

16"...A2 IMO, the longer FH make the barrel excessively long for a House/Truck/Patrol gun.

I think the 1/2 won't make too much of a difference especially when considering the benefits of the improved flash suppression.  I would go with the Vortex or Phantom.
