What makes a Recce rifle a Recce? I've looked it up, but all the answers I found were too vague for me. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

There is no "mil-spec" for a RECCE per se, but generally speaking it will have a 16" improved barrel that is free floated and a flat-top receiver that has some type of low magnification optic. Here are a few of my variations on the theme.
