Anyone know the actual weight of the standard Colt A3 removable carry handle?

The reason for my post is to try and get my Colt 6920s as light as possible they come 5.8lb empty. I'm thinking of taking off the carry handle and installing the LaRue QD LT-103 fixed BUIS to shave off a few more ounces. I made the mistake of removing the hand guards from my other 6920 and put on the YHM two piece which added weight.Then I installed a Eotech 552 which weighed it down some more. I decided these rifles need to kept as light as possible and as simple as possible. I'm removing both the Eotech and the YHM hand guard in favor of the original set up. However it sounds like shedding the carry handle could be good for another 5-6oz reduction? Thanks for everyones input here.

Will the ebay special airsoft carrying handle hold zero and actually have the correct adjustment though... |
I have an eBay special carry handle that I use with my .22LR kit. It seems to work for that at least. However, bottomed out, you have to loosen it in order to move the elevation adjuster. |

My 6920s will be my go to rifles for home defense and I think the optic is no faster in a less than 30 foot confrontation based on my testing. |
